Spring House

Just beyond the present day Psychology Annex stands the Epsom spring house, as restored by Goucher students in the 1950s and again in 2000. A spring house was used much like a modern day refrigerator. The cool water of the spring running just beneath the house was intended to preserve perishable food, such as milk, butter, eggs, and cheese.
