“The kiss she then gave me seemed sweeter and ultimately more meaningful than the one she gave me before. It was long and it was powerful. As we stood there waiting for the ambulance to arrive, I tried to match our patterns of breath, and we both knew that things would never be the same.”

--Adam Nicolai, ’07

Verge is a faculty-nominated, peer-reviewed journal for undergraduate writing -- both academic, research-based papers and more creative nonfiction work. It is an opportunity for some of the many exciting, but often hidden, academic conversations at Goucher to come together.

Our current issue, Appearances, from academic year 2003-2004, is now available.

Last call for Verge 2! The deadline is now March 1, 2005. Click here for detailed submission information.
