GOOD DAY

Finished are now all our ? labors
Past are the pleasures that once have been ours
Softly and sweetly the June sky o'extendeth
Crowning our days with the wealth of her flowers
Reverently take we our places before thee
To sing of the praise that we gratefully owe
Of lasting remembrance and love to assure thee
Oh dear Alma Mater, once more ere we go.

And though in our parting we cannot be merry,
Yet sorrow and pain have no share in our song;
While heart beats to heart let us pledge our devotion
To her to whom honor and glory belong
Then on let us march to the great world before us
With joy in our hearts for the work we must do
While proudly aloft there will ever wave o'er us
The banner we love of the gold and the blue.

Freely to those who have asked hast thou given
Thy bounty that ? is a union sublime
Perfection of body with soul's purest beauty
And spirit undaunted to endure for all time.
May we all worthily follow thy guiding
May the strength thou hast given us grow evermore,
Til it finds in our hearts deep and steadfast abiding,
Oh, dear Woman's College of fair Baltimore.
