My dear classmates,
I have given my house address above, but I am actually sitting in no. 22, Vingolf Hall, Goucher College, writing this. I am one of the 24 classmates who are back for our reunion.- and in my case, for my daughter's graduation. Tho the weather has been cold enough to freeze even enthusiasm yet we have babbled on, and had one big rollicking time. Records say it has been 27 yrs since we were graduated, but it seems just the other day. - & every 1903 member seems to have as much pep and loyalty as formerly. It is great to be a Goucher alumna and still greater to have your daughter one. I am so proud of her - I could just burst-. Indeed all five 1903 daughters in this class of 1930 are real jewels.
My house is still in my lovely home town, Winchester, in the *** and beautiful Shenandoah Valley. When you drive thru, come see me. I lead a very happy and busy life there. I am president of our chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy; Sec. Of the *** League; Vice president of our church Auxiliary; Deaconess-Treasurer of the *** Auxiliary; and Historian of the American Legion Auxiliary. I worked hard on all the above- besides much domestic and social work. I am busy, busy, busy all the time. Though very happy!
Let me urge all 1903 girls to plan now to return for our reunion in 1934.
Love and best wishes to all
